Lumiglas DIN 7081 gauge glass is the premium solution for liquid level observation in high-pressure boilers and petrochemical vessels. Manufactured to strict DIN standards, our range includes both Reflex (grooved for steam clarity) and Transparent (smooth for dirty or corrosive media) types.

Specifically, we offer four distinct material grades ranging from standard Borosilicate to high-performance Aluminosilicate glass. This advanced material composition allows for operating pressures up to 400 Bar and temperatures up to 375°C, surpassing standard market alternatives.

Reflex vs. Transparent: Which to Choose?

  • Reflex Glass: Features molded grooves on the medium side. The grooves refract light, making liquid appear black and steam appear silver. Best for clear liquid level reading in clean media.
  • Transparent Glass: Smooth on both sides. Used for dirty, viscous, or corrosive media. Additionally, it must be used when Mica shields are required to protect the glass from alkali attack or high-pressure steam.
