Lumistar Special Glass Technology Co., Ltd. welcomed a delegation from Indonesia for a comprehensive factory visit and strategic cooperation meeting on September 6, 2025. The visiting team toured Lumistar’s production lines and quality laboratories, discussed product specifications and testing protocols, and reached a preliminary agreement on commercial cooperation. - Guided tour of cutting, grinding, polishing, tempering and testing departments, demonstrating end-to-end glass production capability.
- Live demonstrations of key quality assurances: thermal-shock testing, high-pressure leak tests, stress (polariscopy) inspections and precision dimensional measurement.
- Presentation of traceability processes including laser marking, automatic engraving and batch test reporting.
- Strategic meeting to outline product scope, delivery timelines, quality acceptance criteria and next steps toward a formal cooperation agreement.

Equipment & capability showcase
During the visit, Lumistar showcased its core equipment and QC capabilities that are central to industrial sight glass and specialty glass manufacture:
- Precision cutting (diamond wire & CNC saw), double-sided polishing and edge treatments for optical and sealing surfaces.
- Tempering and controlled heat-treatment with residual stress verification via polariscopy.
- High-temperature muffle furnaces for softening/melting point tests and vacuum brazing for high-reliability assemblies.
- Comprehensive testing: thermal shock (-50°C to 500°C cycles), drop-ball impact, pressure hold (1.5× design pressure typical), surface roughness (Ra/Rz) and automated gantry dimensional inspection.
These capabilities ensure Lumistar can deliver custom sight-glass solutions with documented test evidence and traceable quality reports.
Next steps & cooperation roadmap
Both parties agreed on a staged approach to collaboration:
- Finalize technical specifications and acceptance criteria (drawings, tolerances, Ra/Rz, stress limits).
- Issue and approve prototype samples for testing.
- Agree on lead times and pilot order quantities.
- Sign a formal supply agreement following successful sample validation.
Lumistar will compile test records, sample photos and a preliminary quotation and deliver them to the visiting team within the agreed follow-up timeline.
