KF-80 is an ISO-KF (NW80) flanged viewport engineered for high-vacuum observation, alignment and process monitoring. Materials: borosilicate, fused silica (quartz), sapphire and infrared crystals — chosen by wavelength, temperature and process demands.

FAQ — KF80 viewport
Which material is best for deep-UV?
Fused silica (quartz) is the preferred choice for deep-UV (down to ~180 nm). Borosilicate has limited deep-UV transmission; sapphire is robust but not ideal for the deepest UV bands.
Can I order custom diameters and high flatness?
Yes — custom diameters, thicknesses, and optical grades (e.g., 20/10 surface, 1/10 wave flatness) are available. CAD drawings and small batch fabrication are supported.
