DIN7081 Transparent Level Gauge Glass
DIN7081 transparent level gauge glass for liquid level gauges. High-clarity borosilicate sight glass discs and tubes. Datasheet, sizing matrix and COA available.
Description
DIN7081 transparent level gauge glass delivers clear, reliable visual level indication for industrial tanks, vessels, and piping. Engineered to DIN7081 tolerances, our transparent level gauge glass is ideal when you need optical clarity, chemical resistance, and dimensional interchangeability with standard level gauge fittings.
Key benefits — why choose DIN7081 transparent glass?
- Standards compliance: Manufactured to DIN7081 dimensions and tolerances for level gauge glass, so it fits common housings and flanges.
- Superior clarity: High optical transmission for accurate visual reading, even in low-light conditions.
- Chemical resistance: Borosilicate (or optional soda-lime/inert glass) resists common process media.
- Interchangeable: Direct replacement for legacy DIN7081 transparent level gauge glass parts.
- Traceable quality: Batch COA, dimensional report and inspection certificate available on request.

Typical variants & customization
We supply standard DIN7081 transparent discs and tubes, and we also provide:
- Cut-to-size discs with drilled holes or countersinks (specify DWG/STEP)
- Edge finishes: ground, chamfered, polished
- Coatings: anti-reflective (AR) on request
- Alternative materials: soda-lime (DIN8902), fused silica (JGS1) for UV or laser use
- Certified batches with COA and dimensional report
Installation & handling (engineer notes)
- Install with smooth gaskets to avoid point loading. Otherwise, local stress can cause failure.
- Do not rework (cut or drill) transparent glass after tempering; specify holes prior to manufacturing.
- For thermal cycling applications, choose borosilicate or confirm tube wall thickness and mounting allowance.
- Always request the dimensional report for critical installations.

FAQ
- 1. What does DIN7081 mean?
- DIN7081 is the German standard that defines dimensions and tolerances for transparent level gauge glass discs and tubes. We manufacture to those dimensions to ensure interchangeability..
- 2. Can I replace my old level gauge glass with DIN7081 parts?
- Yes. If your housing accepts DIN7081 dimensions, our transparent level gauge glass is a direct replacement. However, confirm gasket type and seat dimensions before ordering.
- 3.Can you supply custom sizes or holes?
- Yes. Upload your DWG/STEP file via the Request Quote link. We will confirm manufacturability and lead time.
