YT-2430 Low-OH Synthetic Quartz Tube — High-UV-Transmittance Fused Silica for UV Electric Light Source Envelopes
LUMIGLAS® YT-2430 is a low-OH synthetic quartz tube engineered for UV electric light source envelope and discharge tube applications. Produced from synthetic fused silica with ppb-level metallic impurities, it delivers high UV transmittance across the 160–300 nm UV band with proven resistance to UV-induced solarisation. OH hydroxyl content is available in two grades — ~200 ppm (standard) or 400–1000 ppm (customisable) — allowing the UV cut-off wavelength to be matched to the specific lamp design. Standard OD range φ1–90 mm, wall thickness ≤30 mm, maximum length 2000 mm.
