OH hydroxyl content is below 1 ppm. The high UV transmittance and low UV absorption of synthetic fused silica make this capillary the standard substrate for optical fiber preform inner bore tubes, specialty fiber capillary components, photonic crystal fiber and precision UV-grade analytical components.
